When you can't afford to take a chance

  • Unknown call

A number you don't recognize has called - check before calling back.

  • Request for BankID or payment

Someone wants you to identify yourself or transfer money. Check first.

  • Number claiming to be a company

The sender claims to be calling from a bank, government or shop. Is that right?

How it works

Public information, explained in plain text

  1. 1

    We search for the number

The number is interpreted into international format and searched in several spellings against publicly indexed sources.

  2. 2

    We review relevant sources

The most relevant pages are retrieved and we check that the number really appears in the page text.

  3. 3

We compare and summarize the evidence

The sources are rated according to how verifiable they are, and you get a balanced assessment with links you can open yourself.

Confidence

We never guess for you

  • Only data with support is shown

Unsourced links are never presented as fact.

  • AI summarizes but does not determine the level of risk

The score is calculated by rules in the code, not by the AI.

  • Missing information does not mean the number is secure

An empty result is reported as just unknown - not as an approval.

FAQ

Brief on phone number check

Who called from this number?
Enter the number and we will search public sources and show which connections are available - and how secure they are. If the owner cannot be insured, we will say so instead of guessing.
How do I search for a phone number?
Paste the number into the search field at the top, exactly as you see it. We automatically interpret the country code and format and then search the number in multiple spellings against publicly indexed sources.
Is the number a scam number?
If the number has been reported as spam or fraud by multiple independent sources, we will show it clearly, with a link to the source. A single report is reported as just one report.
What do I do if I suspect phone fraud?
Do not call back, do not leave any information and never sign with BankID at someone else's request. Block the number, contact your bank via a number you look up yourself and report to the police if you have time to give out information.
How certain is the result?
Each assessment is shown together with how strong the basis is. High risk with weak basis means that the signals are there but based on few sources.
Does the check cost anything?
Yes. A check requires an active purchase or an active plan. The packages cost SEK 19 (24 hours, 20 checks), SEK 39 (7 days, 50 checks) or SEK 69 (30 days, 100 checks) – one-time purchase without automatic renewal.
